Police appeal for witnesses as 31-year-old woman fights for life following car collision in Southall

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision involving a car and a 31-year-old woman on Lady Margaret Road, close to the junction with Shackleton Road in Southall.

Police were called at 12:15hrs on Wednesday 25 May and along with the London Ambulance Service, London Fire Brigade and London’s Air Ambulance attended the scene.

The pedestrian, a 31-year-old woman, was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital where she remains in a critical condition. Her family has been informed and is being supported by specialist officers.

The driver stopped at the scene and is assisting officers with their ongoing investigation. There has been no arrest.

Detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are investigating the circumstances. They are particularly keen to hear from any witnesses who saw the collision, or captured it on dash cam.
