60 firefighters tackle early hours blaze in Perivale

A fire at a row of derelict two-storey homes in Perivale that started just after midnight and lasted for two hours saw 60 firefighters and eight fire engines attending in the early hours of Friday (22 December 2023) morning.

The roof of a row the derelict buildings in Horsenden Lane South was destroyed by fire and one first floor flat was also destroyed. There were no reports of any injuries.

The London Fire Brigade were called at 00:14am and the fire was eventually brought under control by 02:14am by firefighters from Wembley, Northolt, Ealing and Acton.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and Metropolitan Police.
