Tasty Tim set to open in Park Royal on 1 July

One of the most eagerly awaited chains to cross the Atlantic is to arrive in Ealing on 1 July. Canadian coffee and doughnut chain Tim Hortons, which has been around since 1964 and was founded by a former professional ice-hockey player, will be opening their first London branch at Royal Leisure Park, near Park Royal tube station.

With its Ealing location, Tim Hortons – which opened its first UK branch in 2017 – will have 60 branches across the UK. Currently they have more than 5,000 locations across the world.

As well as coffee and doughnuts, customers will be able to sample iced drinks, chicken sandwiches, beefburgers, hot dogs and lattice fries from a menu that also includes vegetarian and vegan hot food and dairy-free drinks.

The site Tim Hortons has chosen was formerly a branch of Pizza Hut, and the new owners of the space will offer dine-in for up to 100 customers as well as a drive thru.

Opening hours will be 6am to midnight, seven days a week. Key workers in the NHS emergency services and armed forces get a 10 per cent discount off their bill by showing valid ID when placing an order.
