Little Ealing cricketers win tournament at Lords

Ealing’s Little Ealing Primary School has been crowned the winners of the Capital Kids Cricket William Greaves Trophy tournament which took place at Lords, the home of cricket in St John’s Wood on 21 March 2024.

The mixed team of boys and girls from the South Ealing-based school won the William Greaves Trophy and were presented with their medals by Mayor of Ealing, Councillor Hitesh Tailor.

The Little Ealing were up against seven other schools – Latchmere School, Kingston-upon-Thames; Warren Junior School, Barking & Dagenham; Rokesly Junior School, Haringey; Whitchurch Primary School, Harrow; Whitehall Park School, Islington; Highlands Primary School, Redbridge; East Sheen Primary School, Richmond.

Councillor Tailor congratulated the players from Ealing along with all others who took part. He said: “Well done to all participants as I attended with other London Mayors.”
