The Metropolitan Police has issued a new appeal for information to find a man who absconded while on escorted leave from a mental health facility in West London.
Matthew Barnard, 43, absconded in Ealing Broadway on 23 April 2024 shortly after midday. He was last seen with mental health staff at Barclays Bank, Ealing Broadway.
Police say he may pose a risk to the public without access to medication.
Barnard is currently being detained under Section 37 and Section 41 of the Mental Health Act following a conviction for assault.
Anyone who sees him should not make any approaches and call 999 immediately quoting ref 2984/23APR24.
