Makers Market comes to Acton

Acton’s Makers Market is coming to Churchfield Road on Saturday (13 July 2024) with an eclectic marketplace featuring a wide range of traders and artisans offering everything from art to jams and wine to crafts.

The market, which runs from 10:00am to 4:30pm, aims to help support local businesses and offer visitors unique items to buy as well as enjoy food and drink.

In a statement, Your Acton BID which is putting on the event in collaboration with Design Led said this is the first of three planned events this year.

“Visitors are encouraged to arrive early and immerse themselves in the full market experience. This is the first of three special markets planned for the year, each designed to highlight the talent and craftsmanship within the Acton area.”.

Following the July market, the next two will be on 14 September 2024 and 14 December 2024.

The organisers added: “Supporting local businesses and boosting enjoyment for our locals is so important to us, and we love that we can bring the two together to make use of road closures. It’s an opportunity for new traders and BID businesses alike to get together, showcase their products, meet new customers and bring true community spirit to Acton.”.
