A packed Ealing Business Club saw entrepreneurs and business owners across the borough meet to network, learn and hear from guest speaker Bassam Mahfouz, member of the London Assembly and Northolt West End councillor.
The breakfast meeting, which was held at Bobo Social, on 26 September 2024 also heard from Chris Ttouli, branch manager of Handelsbanken Ealing, Trisha Stewart, Ealing Business Club director and Councillor Julian Gallant, chair of Ealing Business Club.
Mr Mahfouz spoke of his many years as a councillor and the work Ealing Council has done for businesses across the borough and the introduction of the Living Wage for workers.
He said: “I’m delighted that this year, just last month, we were able to announce that Ealing has finally achieved that status of being a Living Wage place. So a huge thank you to everybody in this room.”
Mr Ttouli explained to guests how Handelsbanken operates as a local bank for businesses across Ealing and how its decisions are made locally.
