Police seek help to identify man

Metropolitan Police are appealing to the public for help to identify a man who is said to have assaulted women in Southall and exposed himself on a bus.

According to police, on 6 August 2024 at around 6:55pm, a man was walking along East Avenue in Southall assaulting women as he walked past them. He was said to be wearing an orange turban at the time.

Previously on  31 July 2024, a man was sitting on the upper deck of the SL7 bus from Heathrow to Croydon between 8:15am and 9:00am where he exposed and touched himself near Croydon. The man was wearing a white t-shirt with blue turban.

The man is said to have a long grey beard and is around 50 years old and police investigating say there have been no injuries reported in either of the two incidents.

Anyone who can help is asked to call 101 quoting 1063/01AUG24 or to remain anonymous to contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
