The annual Ealing Charity Christmas Card Shop pop-up has now been opened by Mayor of Ealing Councillor Yvonne Johnson.
The shop, which is open to residents and visitors to the borough, offers Christmas cards where 100% of the money raised goes to charity.
Now marking its 39th year of offering seasonal greeting cards that raise funds to help others, the volunteer run shop based at Church of Christ the Saviour in New Broadway Ealing, sells cards from 30 charities featuring over 200 designs.
The Christmas Card Shop is open Monday-Saturday 10am to 4pm until 19 December 2024.
Since 1985, it has raised over £900,000 for over 100 charities by selling 5m cards.
This year sees over 200 designs from charities both local, national and international including Age UK Ealing, British Heart Foundation, Cancer Research UK, Combat Stress, Ealing Samaritans, Ealing Amnesty International, Parkinson’s UK, Soil Association, and Stella Maris – Apostleship of the Sea.
Sue Green, who co-founded the Ealing Charity Christmas Card Shop in 1985 said: “We’re delighted to be back, thanks to the support of our 50 fantastic volunteers.”
