The Yorkshire Building Society branch in Ealing will begin extending its weekday opening hours from next month (3 November 2025). The High Street branch will now close at 3.30pm instead of 2.30pm.
The change is part of a wider move by the mutual, which is lengthening opening times at 52 branches across the UK. The society said the decision followed a review of customer feedback and was aimed at improving access to in-person services.
Wayne Measor, director of retail customer services, said: “We’ve reviewed our opening hours to make sure they give our members and customers the best service possible, now and in the future. We’re responding to feedback that our customers really value being able to speak to us face-to-face, but they’d like us to offer a little more flexibility.”
