Applications for pupils to get into high school in Ealing for September 2023 are now open for residents to apply.
Parents or guardians need to complete their child’s application by 21 October 2022 and choose the school they wish their child to go to for year 7, though there is a final statutory deadline of 31 October 2022 to make applications.
All schools in Ealing will be organising prospective parent and pupils events which take place either in the morning or evenings and include tours of the schools.
A full list of what is being organised can be found here.
If a child was born between 1 September 2011 and 31 August 2012, they will be leaving their primary school in summer 2023 and start year seven at high school in September 2023.
Councillor Kamaljit Nagpal, Ealing Council’s cabinet member for a fairer start, offered the following advice: “Choosing which school your child will attend is a big decision and the applications process can sometimes feel daunting.”
Councillor Nagpal added: “The council’s admissions team do all they can to make the application process as easy as possible, however, we recognise it is an important decision, so if you require support please visit the council’s website, contact the schools you are interested in, or speak to your child’s current school.”
