Book of Condolence open as Ealing Town Hall flies flag at half-mast following death of Queen Elizabeth II

Ealing Council has opened a room in Ealing Town Hall where members of the public can sign the Book of Condolence, following the death of Queen Elizabeth II yesterday (8 September 2022).

Above the Town Hall, the British flag is half mast in respect to The Queen.

The Book of Condolence will be open for people to sign between 9am and 10pm every day.  Ealing Council has not said yet when it will close the book.

EALING.NEWS spoke to one resident in Ealing who was arriving to sign the book of condolence.

“I came here to show my respect and gratitude to The Queen and everything she did for the country,” said one man from Greenford. “I still remember the day The Queen came to Ealing Broadway as well so after signing the book, I’m off to see the plaque she unveiled.”
