Ealing’s University of West London (UWL) has been named “University of the Year for Teaching Quality” and “University of the Year for Student Experience” in the The Times & Sunday Times Good University Guide 2023.
As a result, UWL is also now listed in the top 10 of universities in London as well as making it to 40th place in national rankings.
A delighted Professor Peter John CBE, vice-chancellor at UWL said of the achievement the university has made: “Receiving these two awards is a tremendous achievement and one that perfectly captures our ethos as a university. We are delighted to see the skill and dedication of our teaching staff and their commitment to preparing our students for success in their future careers recognised in this way. ”
Professor John added: “Of course, our students are at the heart of everything we do and that is why we have a relentless focus on delivering the best possible student experience so that they may thrive and achieve the success they deserve. Afterall, it is our students who will be helping the economy grow in the future and finding the solutions to our most pressing problems.”
