Help find lost mini suitcase for Councillor Grace Quansah containing precious personal artefacts

Ealing author and educator Councillor Grace Quansah is urgently asking if anyone has found a black mini suitcase that she left on a bus in Northolt that contains precious personal artefacts including items from her father.

Councillor Quansah boarded a 140 bus at Northolt Station and got off at Dilston Close earlier this week to go to a school in Northolt for a Windrush workshop.

Councillor Quansah tweeted: “In error I left my mini suitcase on Bus 140 on route to do 2nd Windrush workshops @ Northolt school. Devastated. My father’s Black Star Line naval hat & cloth, gifted by the late Mother Jessica Huntley were inside. If the case or artefacts are found please contact me.”

As well as those items, Councillor Quansah said there were also some musical instruments in the case along with tropical fruits.

Coucillor Quansah is the founder of WAPPY, an Ealing-based group that helps to develop the creative writing and illustration skills of young people from all backgrounds and to give them training to progress their creative work.

If anyone comes across the mini suitcase or sees any of the items, they are asked to contact Councillor Quansah who can be reached via twitter @MsQuansah
