Two 18-year-old men, one from Hanwell and another from Greenford, have been charged with attempted murder following a road traffic collision in Uxbridge in which a 31-year-old was found with a head injury in the early hours of 16 October 2022.
Essa Alanizi of Greenford Avenue, W7 and Hadi Khamis of Whitton Avenue West, Greenford were charged in October with attempted murder and remain in custody to appear at Isleworth Crown Court on 15 November 2022.
Alanizi was arrested by officers on 16 October at an address in Greenford and charged with attempted murder on 18 October 2022.
Khamis attended a local police station on 18 October 2022 and was arrested. He was charged on 19 October 2022 for attempted murder and dangerous driving.
Police were called at 00:27am on 16 October 2022 to Sargeant Close, Uxbridge following reports of a collision involving a car and pedestrian.
The victim, a man aged 31 was found at the scene with a head injury and was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
