Launching and growing your business was on the agenda as people took part in a informal lunchtime event put on by Ealing Business Social and which saw more details of Ealing Business Expo 2023 revealed.
The pre-Christmas gathering saw small business owners along with freelancers and entrepreneurs across the Ealing area share tips and advice on best practices and how to find opportunities to both stay afloat in business as well as expand. Attendees also shared their own experiences of how they are coping with the economy and how they market themselves.
Organiser Theo Ruby has plans for more Ealing Business Social events next year to further grow networking opportunities for people in Ealing.
From individuals who can help with financial planning through to software developers, the diverse mix of people ranged both in ages as well as backgrounds but all were focused on being located or connected to the borough.
During the event, a Christmas Raffle took place supporting Young Ealing Foundation which helps to empower young people in the borough.
Among those attending was Carlene Bender, organiser of the annual Ealing Business Expo where on 8 March 2023 the event will be hosted at University of West London. The Expo is Ealing’s leading annual event for anyone involved in business from start-ups to established businesses and entrepreneurs to meet and gather.
Small businesses will have the opportunity to showcase what they do. Stands start from £190 at the Expo which is expected to be the biggest event since it started in 2015.
