Ealing Project is now open!

After much anticipation, the Ealing Project, Ealing Broadway’s multimedia venue is now open to the public.  As part of its opening offer, the three screen cinema and live performance venue is offering screenings to all its films throughout July for £6 a ticket.

As well as blockbuster films, the first cinema in central Ealing since 2008, will also be screening independent movies as well as hosting live music, comedy nights, art installations and quiz evenings

The new venue is from the team at Really Local Group who have created similar cinema and art venues including Catford Mews and Reading Biscuit Factory. During daytime, the venue will act as a hub for to be used for co-working, grabbing a coffee or drink, catching up with friends or for local groups to use as they need, the Really Useful Group says.

Much collaboration is promised where The Ealing Project will partner with local musicians and artists. In the coming weeks and months, the programme will include a project with Acton’s Bollo Brook youth club and a screening of the Ealing-made documentary Suburban Steps to Rockland, centred around the famous Ealing Club.

Preston Benson, Founder of Really Local Group commented: “We’re very proud of the space we’ve created and we’re confident Ealing locals and newcomers alike will enjoy the huge new space and rich programme of films, art installations and events.”

What it looks like inside

Two membership packages to The Ealing Project are available.

At just £45 for an annual adult membership, the scheme includes five tickets and gives members 20% off all future tickets (for the member and a guest/family), 20% off all food and drink in the venue, a free drink on first purchase and invites to special events.

A discount membership is also available for Students, over 50s, NHS and Bluelight card holders: priced at £28 it offers four tickets and all the other perks of the full membership.

Andrew Rollings, centre director at Ealing Broadway, added: “The Ealing Project is a fantastic addition to Ealing Broadway, with shoppers able to factor in a cinema trip, event, exhibition, or evening of live music to their visit to the centre. We’re also excited for locals to have the opportunity to use the new space for work meetings or catch ups with friends and welcome the new selection of films which will be available. The Ealing Project will complement our strong mix of retailers and restaurants at the centre, which we hope to continue expanding over the next few months.”
