Ealing residents told to “raid their attics” as BBC Antiques Roadshow is coming to Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery

One of BBC’s longest running and popular TV shows, Antiques Roadshow is to be filmed at Ealing’s Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery in May and residents across the borough are being asked to “raid their attics” to find hidden treasures.

The show, which enters its 47th series, is known for revealing incredible works of art as well as antiques from the communities it visits and residents in Ealing will have an opportunity to bring their treasures along.

The organisers say: “We’re excited to be bringing the Roadshow to Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery this year. On the day of Roadshow recordings, the specialists are on hand to offer free advice and valuations to visitors who are invited to raid their attics and bring along their family heirlooms, household treasures and car boot bargains for inspection.”

Clare Gough, director of Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery said: ““We are delighted to host BBC Antiques Roadshow at Pitzhanger. It is a wonderful opportunity to showcase Soane’s architectural masterpiece to a wider audience and bring our community together to celebrate history, art, and hidden treasures.”

The filming will be taking place on 19 May 2024 and residents will need to apply beforehand to secure a place.
