Gunnersbury is asking members of the public to vote for a project to develop in 2023

Gunnersbury Park & Museum is inviting the local community to vote on one of three projects that it will offer next year.

Over the summer, Gunnersbury, which is jointly owned by Hounslow Council and Ealing Council, promised that a percentage of the profit it made from events in the park that took would be used for the local commitment.

The initiative known as The Community Choice is what Gunnersbury calls: “an opportunity for the public to choose a project, funded from the profits of the events, that will bring a direct benefit to the local community.”

Gunnersbury added: “The Community Choice projects have been championed by members from the Gunnersbury Team, and there are three projects to choose from! You can vote to bring new hedgerows and habitats to the park, give bursaries for schools to attend our immersive education programme who would otherwise miss out or purchase multisensory and accessible equipment for the playground.”

The three projects to choose from are:

1: Providing local schools who would otherwise miss out with bursaries to attend our school sessions

2: Making Gunnersbury more inclusive with sensory learning equipment added into the playground

3: Planting new hedgerows to bring new habitats to the park

Residents can vote for a project by clicking here.  Closing date is January 3 3023.
