Gutterball set to open on former Ealing Project site

Boutique bowling brand Lane7 is set to bring its Gutterball entertainment concept to London for the first time, with a new venue opening at Ealing Broadway shopping centre by the end of summer.

The 15,000 square-foot site, formerly home to the Ealing Project cinema which closed down on 1 June 2025, will be transformed into an entertainment hub. Gutterball will feature ten-pin bowling with a twist, alongside pool tables, private karaoke booths, retro and modern arcade games and shuffleboard.

Gavin Hughes, managing director of Lane7, said: “Gutterball is all about creating memorable moments – the kind of place where everyone can let loose, have fun and leave with a story. Bringing it to London is a big moment for us, and Ealing Broadway is the perfect place to kick things off. Expect noise, colour, chaos – in the best possible way.”

Originally launched in North Shields in 2019, Gutterball is Lane7’s more family-focused offshoot, designed to appeal to a broad audience with its mix of games and social spaces.
