Ealing’s music and arts festival, the Hanwell Hootie has been nominated for two categories in the prestigious UK Festival Awards and with the help of fans across Ealing and in other parts of the country could be the winner of “Best Medium Size festival” and “Best Metropolitan Festival”.
Since starting in 2013, Hanwell Hootie has grown to feature dozens of bands and musicians each year along with a variety of comedy performers and takes place across more than 10 venues in Hanwell.
Announcing it’s nomination, a very delighted Hanwell Hootie tweeted: “Spread the word far and wide, like love and share!! 10 Years of free amazing live music, hundreds of bands and too many good times to count! LETS PUT HANWELL ON THE MAP!!!!”
