The much anticipated first ever Ealing Book Festival has revealed it has added more names and events to its line-up with legendary Roxy Music guitarist Phil Manzanera giving a talk about his life and work.
The borough’s book festival takes place between 11 – 14 April 2024 at Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery.
The added events include:

In ‘Revolución to Roxy’ Roxy Music guitarist Phil Manzanera talks to Stuart Prebble about his life, upbringing in Cuba and being on the road.
- Local artist Narvir Singh will be leading a poetry workshop focusing on identity and personal heritage.
- Marina Cantacuzino’s book Forgiveness: An Exploration explores forgiveness and the possibility of an alternative to resentment.
- To be and not to be: Ealing poets James Pendle, Owen Gallagher and Lisa Kelly explore issues around access, wellbeing and exclusion.

In How to Get Published author and senior editor at Hachette books Anne Marie Ryan and Communications Director for Penguin Amelia Fairney reveal more about the publishing process.
- Capital Xtra DJ and literature champion Jojo Silva will be comparing a showcase of the best writing talent across Ealing.
Chair of the Ealing Book Festival Catherine Jacquiss said: “We are delighted with the response to events already launched. While some events are sold out there are tickets still available across the Festival and we are thrilled to be able to add such an exciting mix of new events to the existing programme”.
