New exhibition of film and TV shows made at Ealing Hospital

A small exhibition featuring images from films and TV shows made in Ealing Hospital since it opened in 1979 is to be shown at its upstairs Galleria.

The exhibition has been funded by LNWH Charity, the fund raising organisation of London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust (LNWH) which runs Ealing Hospital.

In a statement, the hospital said: “LNWH Charity has funded the first of four mini exhibitions to use the upstairs space. Shows filmed at the hospital include Top Boy, McMafia, This is Going to Hurt and The Exotic Marigold Hotel.”

It added: “Scenes from the early seasons of Silent Witness where filmed in and around the mortuary, while super agent Jack Bauer came to the rescue when terrorists blew it up in long running series 24.”
