The Ealing Club is back for one night only at The Questors Judi Dench Playhouse

Having sold out all its performances when it first opened at The Questors Theatre in October, The Ealing Club play is back again for one night only in January.

Due to popular demand, a one-off performance will take place on 7 January 2023 in The Questors Judi Dench Playhouse and will be followed by a post-show set from West London-based band, The Hornets.

This play with music throughout, was inspired by the feature film Suburban Steps to Rockland, which explores the musical community that populated The Ealing Club during the 1960s and which was located opposite Ealing Broadway station.

Written by Julian Smith in collaboration with The Ealing Club CIC, the play explores a group of five young people who connect through The Ealing Club.

Alastair Young, the head of The Ealing Club CIC commented: “As an organisation that helps curate the spirit of The Ealing Club, we are delighted that The Questors have successfully employed their expertise to illustrate the narrative of those who might have attended the earliest gigs of the Rolling Stones. We’ve had nothing but enthusiastic feedback from those that have seen the play”

He added: “The talented Questors team has shone a light on the West London musical legacy that continues to have a global impact.”

Tickets can be booked here.
