The Texaco branded service station, which employs six people, was previously used as a car wash and before than until 2001 as a petrol station and is owned by Golden Cross Group.
EALING.NEWS caught up with Lee Mohamed, director of Golden Cross Group to find out more.
How many petrol stations do you operate in Ealing?
We own and operate several sites within the M25. We have owned Viaduct Service station for over 25 years – The site was closed back in 2001 and we have reopened it now. Our nearest site to Viaduct is Greenford Roundabout (BP) next to bridge hotel on Western Avenue is owned and operated by us.
What makes this one special to you and the local community?
The site is located on the very busy Uxbridge road opposite Ealing Hospital and trades under the brand TEXACO for fuel and Londis for the shop. Our prices are very competitive and in line with supermarkets in the area.
For EV drivers will you also be offering charging points?
We are planning to include EV charge points.
What trends in petrol consumption are you noticing?
Since introduction of ULEZ diesel sales are in the decline, unleaded sales are consistent and with EV growing, we expect a slow decline of all products once the EV take up increases.
What is the focus of your service?
We will be concentrating on providing good service, convenience, and competitive pricing for the local community. The site will be stocking all essential supplies for households in the area and will remain open 24 hours a day.
