Ealing businesses and organisations shine and win in 2023 West London Chambers Business Awards

A business which started in an Ealing bedroom and now employs more than 60 people has won Best Business of the Year at the annual West London Chambers Awards which took place at the Clayton Hotel in Chiswick.

Ajar Technology, who are digital transformation consultants have been working with businesses of all sizes since 2005.

Tara Mclaughlin, sales and marketing manager, Ajar Technology said: “Winning the Best Business award is both a huge honour and validation for our team who go the extra mile every day to keep our clients happy and our business moving forward in the right direction. We’re all standing a little bit taller today. Thank you to the West London Chamber of Commerces for this recognition. It means the world.”

Out of the 20 categories, Ealing-based businesses received a number of awards.

Ealing Common located DoubleTree by Hilton London won Best Business for Hospitality and Leisure 2023, Ealing Trailfinders Foundation & Community Team won Community Award, WSI won Best Business for Marketing and Social Media and The Upper Room scooped Best Charity/Social Enterprise. The University of West London was also recognised by being highly commended in the Education & Training Provider of the Year category

As well as Ealing businesses, the awards were also open to businesses across Hammersmith & Fulham and Hounslow.

Sally Smith, COO of West London Chambers said: “2023 was the 10th anniversary for the Awards and were the best yet. This year entries to the Awards increased from 94 to 153, which is a 62% increase.
