Independent travel agent Flight Centre, has reopened its Ealing Broadway store as part of an expansion plan by the travel company to grow again following 2020’s pandemic in which it had to scale down.
To mark its return, Mayor of Ealing, Councillor Mohinder Midha cut the red ribbon at 71 The Mall, to enable the store to be officially opened.
Flight Centre Ealing employs five people is being managed by Chloe Ashton, who has worked for Flight Centre for seven years.
Lucy Clifton, Flight Centre’s general manager, who joined The Mayor of Ealing at the opening event, said: “The pandemic was an extremely difficult period for the travel industry and its workers who relied on business and leisure travel. The reopening of our store in Ealing is a very important moment for Flight Centre as we begin the journey to reopen a series of stores across London and the South-East. Adding to the 12 stores Flight Centre opened immediately after the pandemic, Ealing will be joined by the reopening of our Bath store in the coming months.”
As a reopening offer, Flight Centre is running a promotion for Ealing residents that gives customers £200 off a holiday booked which includes flights and a minimum of 5 nights’ accommodation.
