Free workshop to help improve recruitment process

Businesses in Ealing looking to attract and recruit staff are being invited to take part in a free afternoon workshop to help improve their processes.

The free event on Wednesday (24 July 2024) from 3pm to 6pm aims to help businesses with advice to attract new recruits and improve recruitment processes takes place at the West London Careers Hub located at Westfield London in White City.  The workshop will feature national and local employers including Berkeley Group and Flannery Plant Hire.

The organisers say those attending “will learn about how industry-leading organisations have benefited from utilising the employer standard, which was developed by the Careers & Enterprise Company in collaboration with businesses across a breadth of industry sectors. Businesses will leave with insights on how the employer standards help foster loyalty, positive reputation and increase the flow of next generation talent to your organisation. This workshop is ideal for businesses on an ESG (environment, social an governance) journey, wishing to focus on improving their recruitment and processes.”

Jags Sanghera, head of community engagement at Berkeley Group who will be leading a workshop said: “We are based across West London and beyond, and are excited by the fact that events like this at the West London Retail Skills Hub will tap into and create a wider talent pool for businesses right across West London now and into the future as the retail landscape evolves.”

Mr Sanghera added: “London is full of untapped talent, and this Skills Hub and events there will make it easier for great businesses to connect with potential employees. I can see that this skills hub initiative could be hugely beneficial right across the UK too, so I do hope other areas follow this example.”
