Makers Market comes back to Acton

Acton’s Makers Market is coming back to Churchfield Road on Saturday (14 September 2024) with an eclectic marketplace featuring 40 traders offering everything from art and jams to wine and crafts.

The market, which runs from 10:00am to 4:30pm, aims to help support local businesses and offer visitors unique items to buy as well as enjoy food and drink.

The market is the second of three events being held to support independent local businesses and is organised by Your Acton BID in collaboration with Design LED.

On the day, the stalls will be offering fashion, jewellery, art, homemade jam, wines, sauces and homewares.

Natasha Patel from Your Acton BID said: “Our vision is to make Acton a great destination for businesses, residents, and visitors alike, and to ensure that local businesses are given every opportunity to succeed.”

Ms Patel added: “It’s an opportunity for locals and BID businesses to get together and bring the true community spirit to Acton. The last market in July was such a great day out for everyone and we’ve been working round the clock to make the next two even better.”.

Following the September market, the next one will be on 14 December 2024.
