Park Royal-based bakery company Britain Loves Baking has scooped a top innovation accolade for its Kids Love Baking brand at the UK SME Enterprise Awards.
The company, which has more than 10,000 customers across the UK, was recognised for its baking recipe kits that allow children to learn about the food they bake which includes tasty biscuits, treats and bread.
Founder and CEO of Britain Loves Baking Greg Wixted said: “I am honoured that Kids Love Baking has won in the innovation category. We could not believe it especially as we were up against stiff competition and a rigorous judging process.”
Greg added: “This project has been a real team effort and driven by our new business strategy of always creating new baking ideas that not only taste good but do good. The new brand and range of affordable purpose-driven educational baking kits for kids, aims to teach kids more about where their food comes from and provides the funds to help food charities teach kids to bake for free.”
