More than 6,000 people attended a jobs fair held today (21 July 2022) at Wembley Stadium which included opportunities for people to work in and around Park Royal for a range of organisations and businesses including HS2.
The event, which had 165 employers, universities and training providers on hand to showcase their current vacancies, was supported by The Forge @ParkRoyal which helps people and businesses with employment and training services and works with many organisations to recruit employees.
David Lunts, CEO of the Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation said:
“The Forge@ParkRoyal has helped over 130 local people into well-paid jobs and the construction of HS2 provides more fantastic opportunities for local people to find employment – the Wembley Jobs Fair offers the perfect chance for local people to find out how.”
