40-year-old man stabbed on Acton High Street

A 40-year-old man has been seriously injured after being stabbed on Acton High Street near to discount retailer Savers during the early morning.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at 8.09am on Tuesday, 22 August to reports of a stabbing at High Street, W3.”

They added: “Officers, London’s Air Ambulance [HEMS] and London Ambulance Service [LAS] attended. At the scene a 40-year-old man was found with a knife injury. He was taken by LAS to a west London hospital. We await an update on his condition. At this early stage there have been no arrests. A crime scene is in place.”

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the attack or has information to call police on 101 or Tweet @MetCC quoting 1589/22AUG.
