Man charged with dangerous driving after Range Rover crashes onto Park Royal Tube line

A 23-year-old man from Greenford has been charged with dangerous driving after a woman died in a collision on the A40 near Park Royal Underground station in the summer.

Rida Kazem, of Costons Avenue, Greenford, faces a number of charges: causing death by dangerous driving, causing serious injury by dangerous driving and failing to provide a sample of blood following the incident that happened at 3:48am on 22 August 2022.

Yagmur Ozden, 33, died at the scene of the crash which saw Kazem’s Range Rover crash with a Tesla and then ended up on the Tube tracks.

Miss Ozden’s family have been informed of the charge and continue to be supported by officers.

A man in his 50s, who was with the stationary Tesla, was treated for injuries that were non life-threatening.

Kazem has been bailed to appear at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on January 10 2023.
