PC Shepherd, the officer in charge said: “John Ives is well known in Ealing and surrounding areas and has now been convicted of sexual offences including involving children spanning a number of years. While it is great to let the residents of the area know that he has been brought to justice there may be other people who have been abused by Ives but have not yet had the strength to speak to police – I would urge anyone in that position to make contact immediately. You will be listened to and offered the appropriate support.”
Ives has been remanded awaiting sentencing.
