Metropolitan Police in Redbridge are appealing for help from the public to trace a wanted man who officers have said can be violent.
Balasankar Narayanan, 43, went on the run from his care facility in Ilford on 21 September 2023 and was last seen wearing a blue and white striped t-shirt and black tracksuit bottoms with a black baseball cap.
Narayanan is said to have links across London and police have named Newham, Greenford, Hammersmith, Highgate and Ilford, as well as the West Midlands as areas he may be in or trying to get to.
A police spokesperson said: “We suspect he may be using the rail network and urge any staff and travellers to report any sightings of him immediately. He could potentially be anywhere in the country.”
Police have made extensive enquiries to locate Narayan and those enquiries are ongoing.
Police have said if he is spotted not to approach him but to call police on 999 ref 23MIS032186.
Met Officers are also appealing for any information that may assist police to calll 101 or tweet @MetCC.
