Police have now charged three men after a man in his 30s died following a stabbing on Saturday night (6 April 2024) in West Ealing in the Singapore Road and Uxbridge Road area. Police have said it occurred after a “minor dispute” inside the nearby Old Hat pub.

They have been named as Leon Woods, 42 of Cherry Close, Ealing; Cleveland McEntee, 39 of Henchman Street, Hammersmith and Tron McEntee, 34 of Jubilee Road, Perivale

The three were arrested on 10 April 2024 and charged overnight on 11 April 2024 and will appear at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court today (12 April 2024).

Officers were called at around 7:50pm on Saturday (6 April 2024) to reports of a disturbance and along with London Ambulance medics found a man stabbed in Uxbridge Road at the junction with Singapore Road. Despite the efforts of emergency services, the man died at the scene.

DCI Laura Nelson, specialist crime who is leading the Met’s investigation previously said: “This senseless murder arose from what appears to have been a minor dispute inside a pub. The dispute spilled outside where the victim was fatally stabbed.

“Although formal identification has yet to take place, we believe we know the man’s identity and have informed his family. I send my most sincere condolences to them.

“It is crucial that anyone who was in the pub on Saturday night who may have seen anything significant makes contact with police and tells us what they saw. I also need to hear from anyone who recorded mobile phone footage which may have captured the disturbance, the build up to it or the aftermath.

A 30-year-old woman was also arrested on suspicion of murder on 10 April 2024 has been bailed until mid-June.
