Police clampdown in Ealing on drivers who are driving without insurance

Police from Ealing alongside officers from the Met’s Vehicle Recovery and Examination Service (VRES) have been out in force in Ealing last night which saw a number of drivers being stopped near Ealing Common for driving without insurance.

The special operation which took place last night (6 October 2022) saw a number of police units work together to “conduct a high visibility vehicle stop site”.

In a tweet, MPSSpecials posted: “The #WestArea and #VRES Vehicle Recovery and Examination Service @MPSSpecials worked together last night to conduct a high visibility vehicle stop site in @ealingMPS.”

The police further added: “Multiple drivers were reported for Driving Without Insurance under Section 143 Road Traffic Act.”
