Police seek help to identify man after East Acton tube station assault

British Transport Police are appealing for information to help identify a man in connection with a racially aggravated assault at East Acton underground station earlier this month.

At 12.30pm on 9 March 2025, a woman and her three children were verbally and physically assaulted by a man at the ticket barriers.

The man approached the family shouting racial abuse at them before punching the woman’s teenage son in the face and causing his nose and mouth to bleed.

The man also punched the woman, before leaving the station onto Brassie Avenue.

Anyone who with information or recognises the man is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 2500030091.

Alternatively, Crimestoppers can also be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.
