Police seek help to identify women after road traffic collision in Southall

Metropolitan Police are appealing for information to help identify a woman who is a critical condition in hospital after being hit by a driven vehicle in Southall. 

Officers were called to Healum Avenue junction with Merrick Road, Southall on 9 May 2024 at 00:12am and discovered an Asian woman aged between 25-40 years old seriously injured.

Police say the driver of the vehicle involved had left and the woman was taken to hospital, where she remains in a critical condition.

At the time of the collision she was dressed in light coloured bottoms, light coloured top and wearing sandals.

Detective Superintendent Rebecca Reeves said: “We urgently need to find out the identity of this woman. If you witnessed the collision or know anything about the circumstances in which she suffered her injuries, please contact us by calling 101.”

Anyone who can assist the investigation is asked to call 101 quoting CAD 82/09MAY or to remain anonymous contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
