Police have named a man from West Hampstead as the victim of a fatal stabbing last month inside the Star & Scorpion pub on Uxbridge Road in West Ealing.
58-year-old Wayne Phillips was found by police and paramedics from the London Ambulance Service in a critical condition when they arrived at 11.55pm on Saturday, 23 July 2022. Mr Phillips was pronounced dead at the scene.
A post-mortem examination found the cause of death to have been blood loss and stab wound to the heart.
Timothy Simon, 58 , of Ray Walk remains in custody charged with murder and is due to appear at the Old Bailey in October.
