A woman is fighting for her life after being knocked down by a car in Southall while pushing a baby in a pram.
Officers are appealing for witnesses following the fail-to-stop collision at the junction of North Hyde Lane and Raleigh Road.
Police were called at 12:29pm on 3 February 2023, to reports of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian.
The woman, in her 30s, was pushing a pram at the time and was taken to hospital where she remains in a life-threatening condition. Her baby was injured and next of kin have been informed.
The driver of the car failed to stop at the scene and enquiries are taking place to locate them.
Detectives from the Met’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit would like to hear from any witnesses, or drivers who were in the area at the time with dash cam footage.
