Organised by London Councils, the awards aim to celebrate those who make a difference across local government in London.
Mayor Rokhsana Fiaz, London Councils’ Executive Member for Skills and Employment, said: “Each year, through the London Borough Apprenticeship Awards, we come together to celebrate the outstanding achievements of apprentices working for London boroughs and their supply chains. The Awards also demonstrate the scale of ambition London boroughs have for their communities, as apprenticeships symbolise one of the many ways local government in London offers enriching and empowering opportunities through skills development and training that can lead to rewarding jobs and careers. The nominees of this year’s awards demonstrate a brilliant array of talented and passionate apprentices motivated to serve the public good and the dedicated officers and managers who take on and support them to achieve their potential. The winners will be announced in September.”
