Dormers Well High School recognised with two awards for its high performance as a secondary school

Dormers Wells High School has been recognised as one of the highest performing secondary schools in England by the Schools, Students and Teachers Network (SSAT) in this year’s Educational Outcomes Awards.

The Southall school’s performance in two categories, being in the top 10% of all schools for student progress and in the top 20% of non-selective for student attainment in the 2023 end of KS4 exams, saw it win two awards.

The awards are based on 2023 data collected by school inspector Ofsted and was number crunched by SSAT to reveal top performers across the country.

Sue Williamson, chief executive, SSAT said: “Congratulations to Dormers Wells High School on winning two SSAT Educational Outcomes Awards. This success is down to the superb learning and teaching, outstanding support and inspirational leadership of students, staff, parents and governors. You have made a huge difference to the lives of the young people in your school. Thank you.”

Speaking to EALING.NEWS, Dormers Wells High School headteacher Roisin Walsh said: “We are incredibly proud to receive national recognition for our school’s outstanding performance. These awards are a testament to the dedication and hard work of our entire school community – from our students and teachers to our supportive parents and governors.”

Ms Walsh added: “At Dormers Wells High School, we strive for excellence in all aspects of education, and it is gratifying to see our efforts acknowledged at a national level. We are committed to continuing to provide high-quality learning experiences that empower our students to succeed and thrive in their future endeavours.”
