Greenford High School is celebrating another year of academic success, with a third of all grades awarded at the top A*-A or equivalent.
At A-level, a quarter of grades were at A or A*, and half reached A*-B, with more than three-quarters at A*-C. BTEC students also excelled, with nearly 60% achieving Distinction+, the highest grade available.
Two students, Elias Alrubaye and Asha Barreh, secured places at the University of Cambridge to study Engineering and Land Economy respectively. Six others will embark on medicine or dentistry programmes. Elias Alrubaye, along with Hava Farhad and Harjinder Singh, achieved the rare feat of three A*s.
The school also highlighted a long list of students who achieved straight A* and A grades, including Zeina Akash, Masa Alsha’ar, Asha Barreh, Maryama Bashir, Sarina Bharadwaj, Ayyan Butt, Krystelle Cases, Kshal Chhetri, Yasmin Gunes, Parteek Kajla, Sarah Karim, Jagandeep Khurana, Jenany Krishnaraj, Matas Losvicius, Arousha Mashhadi, Maymuna Nazrul Bhuiyaa, Saba Rajpoot, Mariam Sediqh and Hareema Wesal.
BTEC high achievers included Manmeet Dosanjh, Fola-Kemi Lamidi Sanni, Keely Collins, Mehak Akhtar, Ilham Ayub, Arvin Bajwa, Richie Bernard, Alisha Chaudry, Abbigail DaSilva, Ramla Hassan, Juhi Hiteshcumar, Rohan Kapoor, Omer Khilief, Verneeta Kotak, Preston LaTouche, Oliviah McLeod, Leanaa Mensah, Nasra Omar, Hamaya Ral, Stagun Singh, Kelsey Strange, Akshara Suthaharan and Priksha Thapa.
