Ealing’s London College of Music (LCM) at the University of West London (UWL) will be hosting an evening with Olivier Award-nominated theatre composer and local resident Andrew T Mackay as part of its free Arts in Conversation series.
The special event takes place from 6pm on 30 January 2024 at UWL’s Ealing Campus.
Mr Mackay, who studied at LCM in 1982, will share stories and experiences on working in music, film and theatre industries. There will also be a Q&A afterwards.
Mr Mackay’s recent work on bringing Life of Pi to the theatre saw him honoured with a 2022 Olivier Awards nomination. He has also composed the score for Shakespeare’s Henry V at the Donmar Warehouse.
As well as working in the UK, Mr Mackay also composed the score for Indian feature film, Little Box of Sweets by writer/director Meneka Das which won Best Music at HBO’s South Asian International Film Festival.
