A business auditor and a management consultant apprentice from PriceWaterhouseCooper (PwC) visited West London College to meet business students and offer tips and advice on how to start a career with the international business management company.
Taher Kamari, who is an auditor, offered practical advice on a number of areas including the importance of networking while apprentice Isabella Soones spoke of the variety of apprenticeships there are for students to progress.
Isabella said:”A lot of people think you can only get apprenticeships in areas like plumbing so it’s important for us to go to meet students and challenge the stereotype. The apprenticeships we offer vary from tax, to audit, legal and technological.”
Taher spoke about LinkedIn and using it. He said: “It’s a great way to network and find out about job opportunities.”
West London College Business Level 3.2 student, Imam El-Massmoudi Garcia said: “I learned that there are different ways to get to the degree you want in accounting, tax, legal and so on and how to start the journey.”
