Environmental street party for Perivale

A community street party on Bilton Road in Perivale to help raise awareness of the environment and combating climate change is to take place on Saturday (21 September 2024).

Organised by Parents for Future West London and supported by Ealing Council and Mayor of London’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund, the PFF Big Green Street Party aims to being the local community together from 11:00am to 4:00pm with an eclectic programme taking place including entertainment and hands-on activities for all ages to help foster what the organises call “a sense of togetherness and shared commitment to building a greener, more sustainable future”.

The event will be take place on the wide pavement on the north side of Bilton Road, between numbers 68 and 86 Bilton Road, Perivale, UB6 7DE.

The organisers added: “PFF’s Big Green Street Party is a perfect occasion for the entire community to come together, enjoy delicious food, engage in eco-friendly activities, and learn more about the importance of local action in combating climate change. With an emphasis on sustainability and community engagement, this event is a unique opportunity for residents to connect, support local businesses, and explore innovative ideas that are making a positive impact both locally and globally.”

Among the groups and organisations taking part are Ealing Repair Cafe, Perivale Hive, Friends of the Earth Ealing, Ealing Transition, Mums for Lungs, LAGER Can Ealing, Circular Economy Hub and London Doughnut Economy Coalition.
