Last year’s Strictly Come Dancing winner, Hamza Yassin has been to the grounds of Ealing Hospital to film birds of prey for a documentary film he has made being broadcast on BBC 1 on Sunday (24 September 2023)
Hamza: Strictly Birds of Prey, sees the 2022 Strictly winner film the famous peregrines who have made London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust’s (LNWH) Ealing Hospital their home.
Mr Yassin, who is a wildlife cameraman, said of filming his top ten birds of prey which include peregrines: “All my life I have had a passion for birds of prey, so this documentary film is a dream come true for me.”
He added: “Birds of prey are powerful, majestic, beautiful, charismatic, intelligent. What I think of when I wake up, what I dream about. It’s an opportunity to share more of the joy I experienced on Wild Isles while I film my top ten of Britain’s birds of prey.”
Hamza: Strictly Birds of Prey is broadcast on BBC 1 on September 2023 at 7pm and will be available on iPlayer
