Indian eatery Haweli of Ealing has been recognised as the Best Indian Restaurant in west London at the prestigious Euro Asia Curry Awards which took place last week (15 November 2023).
Haweli, which has been cooking Indian delights since 1985, now adds the award to another 13 it has been given since 2020.
Speaking to EALING.NEWS, manager Samir Miah said: “This marks our 14th award since the challenging times of Covid, and we couldn’t be prouder to continue serving our incredible customers in the heart of West London.”
Mr Miah revealed that its chef Babu Cangi has also been with the restaurant for 30 years and is supported by second chef Joynul Islam.
Mr Miah added that over the years, the restaurant has adapted to customers various dietary needs including vegan as well as offering a range of other vegetarian, meat and a wide range of fish dishes.
He commented: “We are proud of serving the local community and customers. We are the only restaurant that have vegan plant based curries and customers are coming to Haweli of Ealing from all over England and internationally.”
The restaurant is particulary proud of its range of fish dishes. Mr Miah revealed: “We are the only restaurant who sell cod bhuna, masala, and naga hottest dishes. Also salmon bhuna, masala and naga.”
