Following a change in the day to day running of The Forester pub in West Ealing, owners Fuller’s has announced that it is “business as usual” as a new team takes over while regulars will still find popular menus such as Thai food being prepared the way it has always been.
Speaking to EALING.NEWS, a spokesperson for Fuller Smith & Turner said: “We are delighted to be welcoming The Forester, a fantastic, landmark site, into our managed pubs and hotels business – and equally delighted that our tenants, Sam and Pascal who have been running The Forester for many years, remain in the Fuller’s family with their other pubs The Swan at Isleworth and The Globe at Brentford.”
Fuller’s says a new manager will be heading up the pub. “Harry Shotter, formerly the manager of The Crown and Sceptre in Shepherd’s Bush, is going to lead this business into the next chapter of its history.”
When it comes to food and drink, the pub says regulars will still enjoy its famous Thai menu as well as a Sunday carvery.
The spokesperson said: “Nok and her team will continue to deliver their fantastic Thai cuisine Monday to Saturday. And a wonderful, fresh roast carvery will be available on Sundays.”
Drinkers will continue to have a vast choice of tipples as well as being able to enjoy them in a improved garden. The Fuller’s spokesperson revealed: “On the bar, there will be an eclectic wine list and summer cocktails – alongside the diverse beer and ale range that you would expect from a Fuller’s pub and we will be looking to improve the garden in the immediate future.”
They added: “For the residents of Ealing, we very much hope it will be business as usual, and we know Harry and the Team are looking forward to getting to know the area, the pub and its customers – old and new.”
